The beautiful Cornice I purchased arrived today....she actually arrived very quickly & was well packaged! Thank you again, dinkidino...I love her so much already. ♥It took me awhile to decide on her name, to be quite honest. Rose actually kept popping up after I purchased her, but I truly wanted something a bit more original. However, as with my other ladies, the name just seems perfect for her...so I named her after my birth flower. =)
I found & purchased a nude Cornice for a wonderful price...she should be here next week to meet her fellow ladies. ♥Not sure if she may see this or not, but lots of Positive +++ to dinkidino @ Pullip Style. ♥
As mentioned earlier, I most certainly did receive my Blanche this evening...& I have officially presented her with the name Juliet. As soon as I saw her...I knew that was her name. She has such an innocent, yet passionate look about her, & naming her after the fair maiden in Romeo & Juliet seems to fit so very well. ♥
I just received an email that the beautiful Blanche has arrived!MUCH faster than I originally thought...& she was sent Priority. Many positive wishes to Valley of the Dolls for getting her to me right away once she was received. This is a nice time for her to be here, as I have had a lot of sad moments & tears over my poor chinchilla the past two days. (I do believe he is getting better though, or at least, I truly hope so!)In any case, I am pleased about picking her up from Michael's parent's house this evening...& there shall be plenty of photos. I have also been looking forward to her arrival so I may present her with a name. There are a few I have been going back & forth on...but as with Elora, I shall wait till she is out of her box.
The Valley of the Dolls sent me an emailing explaining that their Blanche shipment was delayed, & that they shall not be sent out till next week. This makes me sad, but I do realize it is not their fault...I just wish I would of ordered from Pullip Style instead. Oh well, I shall just have to be patient. I am already looking at a few of the other ladies in the meantime, however...& have decided that I absolutely love Mercu. It is just so depressing that she costs so much money! Jupi is lovely as well, but Mercu's coloring is what truly makes me want her. I believe she may be one I shall have to definitely save up for, unless I can find one for a decent price. (Which is what I hope I may do with my beautiful Bouquet!)NRFB Mercu : I wish I could afford her....Cornice has also caught my eye....& actually....I am very close to ordering her. At first, I truly liked Raphia...but the more I look at Cornice, I find her much more beautiful & enchanting. She has a very unique look to her, much like my beautiful Elora, & I love her coloring. Plus, her pouty lips are nice. Her stock is something I may end up selling though, as even though it is lovely, I do not believe I would ever dress her in it.I am also debating between Craziia & Papin. Craziia has beautiful hair & the same pouty lips I like on Cornice...plus, I do feel a connection to her due to my Irish/Scottish Blood. Papin, on the other hand, is very cute...much like Stica, who is another one I keep looking at.My goodness. This does feel like an addiction. =(
I admit it...I could not resist making a photo post of my beautiful Elora. She is so photogenic & truly a gentle spirit...she makes a perfect subject for photography. I shall definitely have to create a profile for her soon, as she shall have some other lovely ladies joining her quite soon. ♥
Finally, my own personal doll journal! I am just fiddling with everything at the moment & getting a few things ready...but I am hoping to have everything completed by this evening.
